Mahawanshaya

The Mahawanshaya, also known as the Mahavamsa, is a historical chronicle of Sri Lanka written in the 6th century CE by the Buddhist monk Mahanama Thera. It narrates the history of Sri Lanka from its legendary origins, including the arrival of Prince Vijaya, to the time of its composition.
